Spring Trend: Neon Colours

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my natural hair.  As a result, I’ve become somewhat obsessed with wearing bows in my hair.  Naturally, one would assume then that this look began with the bow, but really it all started with the shoes.  My friend and I tried to create an “editorial” feel to the photos. {my interpretation of the Neon spring trend}

Lending Face to Charity

My mom’s friend started this amazing school —> Nambale Magnet School in Western Kenya to educate children who have been made destitute by aids.  Every now and again, I participate in some sort of fundraising to help them achieve their goal of expanding the school.
 My mother’s committee sell these necklaces dubbed the Magic Necklace and send the proceeds directly to the school.  So I got together with a friend and created the campaign below.
If you would like to get involved, you may do so here —->  Nambale

The Bazaar: Status Jacket

Remember this Status Jacket?  Well I sort of figured out how to wear it.  The ideas are flowing that is for sure.  Here is one option that was a result of shopping in my closet.  {I’m not buying new clothes until the challenge is complete.}  And believe me, I was really tempted to shop in Mother’s closet but on seeing that it was Mother’s day weekend,  I thought I ought to give her closet a small break.
